Back from Cambodia

Day 3

Day 3 started even before sunrise. This was because we ARE going to watch the sunrise =p Our driver picked us up from our hotel at 5am and we proceeded to Angkor Wat. There weren't any lights along the way so we had to bring our torchlight and it was only until I shone my light at the tower did I realized that we were at the same place that we've been to the day before. There were a lot of people, seriously a lot. We had expected the sun to come up from behind the towers but......

Angkor Wat at dawn

After breakfast, we went to Banteay Srey. It was a palace for the young prince of Cambodia dating back to the 10th century. However, this isn't exactly a palace. The area is only 100mx450m big. Small for a palace? Obviously! It doesn't even have the neccessary rooms to live in.

Can you believe that this is the actual size of the palace???

After which we went to the Ta Promm temple. Why is it famous? Because it was the filming site for Tomb Raider *o* The temple was very special not only because Tomb Raider was filmed there, but also, most of the trees grew on top of the buildings itself!!!!!

If I'm not wrong, our dear tomb raider ran out from this door in one scene

Look at the size of the trunk! Its even bigger than me!

After lunch, we had a bit of a massage and spa at the hotel. They were good. Especially the sauna, it was very hot inside and my father was constantly pouring water into the heater to make the sauna hotter OMG I sweated like a mofo. It was relaxing though.

Night time came at around 5.30pm and we went to a popular restaurant called the Red Piano. It served mainly Khmer, Western and Chinese dishes. The food was awesome. I took their signature dish "spaghetti red-piano", damn good. We also got a seat that overlooked Pub street. Guys, I strongly recommend you to eat at Red Piano the next time you visit Siem Reap. Oh and they do have a very special cocktail that is exclusive only at Red Piano......
Tomb Raider Cocktail??!?!?!?

Day 4

Our flight back to Singapore was at 6.30pm so after checking out at 10am, we departed for Beng Melea, a ruin located 65km away from Siem Reap. The trip took 1hr and along the way, we saw the lovely countryside of Cambodia. Beng Melea was constructed approximately 1000 years ago by a Hindu emperor. However, through the ravage of time, the temple is now partly collapsed. However, this is what makes it fun! We trekked through the remnants, climbed through large rocks and secret passages. There are boardwalks at the later part of the tour. We can see a lot of stone carvings from the fallen boulders as we can from other ruins.

Beng Melea entrance The most perfectly ravaged ruin
Boardwalk inside the ruin, as you can see, theres no way to walk on the sandstones

The last part of our trip was to visit the Rulous Group, a pack of temples situated not far from the city. After visiting so many ruins, visiting this one doesn't appeal to me as much anymore XD

We went to the Siem Reap airport at around 4.15pm. The airport as I've mentioned before, is very small. However, it was delicately designed and was full of newly renovated shops. We also got a full view of the airport from our seats. It was good. Occassional planes taking off and landing just makes me excited.

Air China B737-700 taking off at sunset

OK Well, I guess i should stop here. More photos are available on my facebook. Any questions or words of wisdom just drop it on my chatterbox =D

Back from Cambodia (Day 2 continued below!!!)

Tuantuan? and Puanpuan? (Ladies and Gentlemen in Malayu), I'm back from Cambodia!!!!! Its such an awesome place and I'm really glad that I went. Although it was a war-ravaged country that regained peace and tranquility like 18 years ago, still it was a good experience for me. Guess I should start from day 1 at Changi Terminal 2.

We are getting on a SilkAir A319. At first I was a bit worried when I saw that our tiny plane has to carry like 160 people but my mum pointed to a nearby Beechcraft 1900D "so you mean this plane can't even fly?" The trip was estimated to be 2hrs and 10min. The view of Cambodia in the air was marvellous, there ain't any skyscrapers, just farms and swamps. When we touched down, we realized that our flight was the only plane in the airport, damn cool.

We've got 6 planes on our tail XD Final approach to Siem Reap Angkor International airport

The hotel that we'll be slacking in is Empress Angkor, a good hotel with excellent service. We've got a brilliant view from our balcony overlooking the fields. Our afternoon was free so we decided to make a trip to Tonle Sap lake to watch the sunset. Along the way we saw the true rural areas of Siem Reap and it was saddening to see those people living in houses not bigger than our bedroom for some it was not even the size of our toilets!!!

See those huts on the water? Its houses!!!!
Our boat trip to Tonle Sap lake
Life on water

We had a bit of a 'pitstop' on a large floating platform on the lake and they have all kinds of weird pets like anaconda, spiders and even crocodile!!!!!

Hang on! am comin down to feed you!!!

At about 5.30pm, we went back onto the boat to sail out into the lake to watch the sun slowly sink into the water. It was such a romantic and emotional moment.

Dinner was at a local buffet restaurant. The food was perfect and we can even watch a live Cambodian dance and it cost only US$12/ pax!!!

Me drinking beer? You sure?

Day 2

Our hotel provided us with a scrumptious breakfast that fired our energy level to the max for the day. We started with the Angkor Thom tour that takes us to the Bayon temple. Here there are 54 statues of Smiling faces that was dubbed as the "Khmer's smile". Although it was a remnant made 800 years ago, it was in good shape.
South Entrance to Angkor Thom

While touring the site, our guide directed us to a position, told me to sit on the ledge and took a photo of me. At first I didn't know what he was up to, but then...... Kissing with a statue?!

We then proceeded to the nearby royal palace area and the terrace of the elephants before moving on to our next sight-seeing location, Preah Khan. There we saw the Banteay tower and the area where swords were once stored. They call this a tower? It is only 2.5m tall!!!

The last place that we went to before our lunch was the Neak Pean. It was a hospital for the people during their times. There are four different pools that housed 4 statues of animals: elephant, lion, horse and human. The people will first go to the central lake to scoop up water, then depending on their illness, they will pour the water behind one of the four caves that housed the respective animal. It was believed that the water flowed down from the elephant statue can treat blood illnesses; body injuries for the human; internal organs for the lion and the respiratory diseases for the horse. I mean a hospital that relied on beliefs to treat people??? kind of ridiculous isn't it? Neak Pean

After Lunch, we went to the most famous Angkor Wat, it is a temple that was featured on the Cambodian flag and was the most well-reknowned structure in Cambodia. I have to admit that Angkor Wat is probably the most awesome structure I've seen in my life. Imagine people from the 11th-12th century were able to construct such a majestic place from only stones and boulders. I think it can definitely compete with China's forbidden city or any other structures. It is absolutely brilliant. But sadly, there are some conservation works going on so part of the building was inaccessible.

Angkor Wat

We were able to make it for the sunset at the top of the nearby Mount Bakheng. We had to walk a long claypath to reach the top and it wasn't over yet. To have an unblocked view of Cambodia as well as the sun, we still have to climb up a temple and beware, the steps are really steep and small. If you have no idea of how the steps looks like, try looking at your wall, it is that similar. Many people were reluctant to climb up because it looked really dangerous but guys, I'm doing it just for you.

We had dinner at the Pub street near the famous Old Market. The street was full of restaurants and we decided to eat at a local Khmer BBQ. I was dead hungry and went a bit crazy for a moment =D We had BBQ frogs, chicken beef and salad. It was fantastic.

Get away from my food!!!!!

There are no taxies in Siem Reap. But they have motorcycle carriages which they called 'Tuk-Tuk'. Without our driver, we decided to take a 'Tuk-Tuk' ride back to our hotel. It cost only US$1/pax. Feels good.

I'm in a 'Tuk-Tuk'=D

Thursday, December 17, 2009

Hi folks I'm flying off again, this time to Cambodia. People say Gods must be crazy but I think humans are more of a bunch of lunatics. Take for example a guy who knew he has a lot of work to do and instead he travels, play and fool around all day. Gods must be crazy????? Eric must be crazy.

7 days before the Malaysia trip 30Nov--> I was supposed to finish at least half of my schoolwork before I go and have fun with my band-its. Instead, I googled and youtubed around for some videos and infos about plane crash. Crazy? Sort of.......

3 days before the Malaysia trip--> I started packing my backpack and luggage. My parents asked me why the rush? I answered 'dunno'

1 day before the Malaysia trip--> I started googling my ass off again. Now my parents know why the rush for backpacking 3 days ago.

2 days after the Malaysia trip--> People say that a person is emotional especially after a trip.......true. I did nothing except running through my photos for like X times. Eric must be crazy.

9 days before my Cmabodia trip--> I had planned to finish at least all of my Econs homework before I go for the trip which I expected it will turn my brain crazy again.

3 days before the Cambodia trip 17Dec--> I went to watch 'Avatar' with Jonathon Cheng. It became the turning point as I slept through the morning of the next day and screwed up my entire plan for completing the work. Not good

2 days before the Cambodia trip--> Bloody hell this is only 11.30 in the morning I just woke up, nothing much to write. Bye for now

Wings of Words

Hi folks I'm back from somewhere on Earth. I had previously witnessed my friend flashing a London air ticket in my face so don't tempt me. They had either gone to Australia, China, New Zealand, London e.t.c but where did I go? Kuala Lumpur!!@#@$@$ I'm not complaining about the trip, it was marvellous. The tour guide has effectively bored us to death along the way, telling us a lot of random things that comes out of nowhere. Some things to note is that the food is good, the band exchange is good and all the SHOPPING*u*!!!!!!!!! However (moving on to the spoilers), the room sucks. 5-star hotel as it claimed it is looks more to me like a 3-star hotel. And the ridiculous thing was that we each got different rooms. Some got the much larger suites while others got the normal rooms with dilapidated decorations. The bathtub was as small as you could have imagined. One of my friend actually got a room that looked and felt like a presidential suite in the 1980s with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, 2 toilets (with full sized bathtubs). And also, the hotel management sucks, it took them 1 whole day to change some of our faulty rooms. The facilities I have to admit was good. We've got some sort of a private bowling alley in the hotel and it is free of any noise so we could play in peace.

On the first day, we went to see a performance by the Malaysian Philharmonic orchestra and they were marvellous and the ticket was so *CHEAP*!!!!!!! 10RM for a stall seat and I was staring at it for almost the entire performance. We had a bit of shopping before going to the horrific hotel. People please remember that it is called Holiday Villa Subang Hotel. Don't ever go there in the future.

We had a bit of city tour in the morning of the second day rushing from one site to another in order to remain on schedule. Had Indian buffet lunch at the famous batu cave and proceeded to a local university for an exchange with their band. They were damn hell bloody good (obviously, they were uni students in the music course). After that, its shopping again at the Sunway pyramid. I loved that place. The ice-skating ring was exposed to the entire shopping center all the way up to level 5 and the feeling of ice-skating when there are hundreds of people watching at you was terrific. You can never experience this in Singapore!!!!!!! One thing I don't understand is why girls like to shop so much. We were strolling after ice-skating when our seniors just ran past us without realizing that we are waving RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM!!!!!! XD Think I spent about 29Rm there?

Third day. We had a wonderful morning training in the hotel's ballroom. The sound was excellent. We sounded loud, rich and clean. Lunch was a very good buffet that will normally cost around 35-50RM/head. We then went to a local school for exchange and the students there I have to admit they have better discipline and also at an age of 14-15, they were just awesome. They kept asking us "How do you all do warm-ups?" "How do you all train staccato?" They spoke mainly chinese with accurate usage but different pronounciation. Bare in mind they are effectively trilingual; they can speak malay, chinese and english, some even know hokkien. We had a memorable interactive session where we just sat down and chat with each other. Through this, I think I had a better idea of how life was in those places. Last thing on our schedule was shopping. When we went to KLCC at the petronas towers, we thought that it was the biggest shopping centre with well-knowned brands but then we saw Sunway Pyramid which was easily bigger then that. However, welcome to Mid-Valley shopping centre, the largest of them all. We had a tough time of distributing some 2-3 hours of shopping to visit all levels. We were seriously awed by the size of the mall. It comprised of an area not more than 2 vivo-cities.

Last day, I'm back in Singapore.

FARK SINGTEL,
FARK SINGTEL and
FARK SINGTEL

Either Singtel is a fucking retard or they are fucking selfish. I know they are trying to break Starhub's monopoly on Pay-TV but this is not the way. Consumers have long complained about the idiotic plan to have 2 set-up boxes in their house should they hope to watch EPL and other programmes and what did they do? THEY FUCKING REJECTED the offers, TWICE. Can you FUCKING BELIEVE THAT? So How the Fuck are they going to help us save costs if we have to subscribe to two service providers? SINGTEL IS A MOTHERFUCKING BITCHASS BLOODY BOLLSHIT MOTHERFUCKER!!!!! SUCK YOUR DICKS ASSES!!!!!! GO USE THE SINGTEL TIP AND FUCK YOUR BLOODY MOTHERS YOU ASSHOLE FUCKERS!!!!! KNNBCCB!!!!

Business is definitely booming on Ebay. It may be the best place to catch stealers but also it is also the ultimate platform to sell your craps and rubbish for decent bucks. 2 items is expected to be sold by the end of this week and hopefullythe bids can continue to come to push up the price =D

I dreamt of having an iPhone last night =D How I wish to have a touchscreen smart phone and not those Sony Ericsson and Nokia rubbish that hangs everyday. Everything went so perfectly until I woke up and realized the horrific truth that it is just a dream. BUt hopefully thats a Deja Vu =D

Made a card for a chinese teacher who is leaving soon. I must be crazy in trying to smoke her with the idioms and the so-called "words of wisdoms". Did it in like 40min though.

Finally my project work is coming to an end soon. Oral Presentation is on friday and we are the first group to present. Sadly but fortunately, besides the regular 2 assessors, we had the honor of having the internal moderator plus the chief moderator that means it will be like......14-16 pairs of eyes looking at me who is even more unfortunately, the first speaker XD

Monday, November 2, 2009

Just watched Resident Evil Degeneration. Its a full animated movie but with high details of realism and ITS DAMN COOL!!!!! Although I don't quite understand why the producers didn't want to put any love scenes in it despite having it in almost every single movie that we see nowadays, it is nice. Still I was hoping Claire Redfield and Leon Scott Kennedy could pull a bit closer to each other. The movie was action packed filled with blasts and adrenaline. It depicted a biohazard event happening at an airport turning everyone into zombies and Leon was responsible for rescuing Claire and her group of people. BTW they met once in Resident Evil 2 already so why are they so surprised when they saw each other!?!??!

Secondly I felt so cool when other people need to take their MT exams while I sort of relaxed at home........sort of.........nah. I had to do my art I've got 7 art essays to do before next tue and also I have to prepare for my art coursework. So tiring but quite fun also. Experimenting and thinking of all possible ways I could do for my A Level artwork.

Boring week. Not because of boring lessons but there aren't any at all. Every morning I just sit at the cafe for an hour and got out of school. Start to wonder if the school is really intelligent in planning their tima table. Fri and Thurs no lessons at all and you expect me to sit in school without laptop, no books no friends for 5 hours? Thurs was a bit crazy for band. I inflicted considerable damage on the band's property when I ahem, sort of used too much force on the music stand and the head broke off. And when all of you are wondering how a live band of singing "Ponyo" would sounds like you should have seen us on Thurs, too bad you missed it.

This is so weird. I dreamt of Marrying......I'm not sure if it happens to some people but it happened to me LOL. Thank God its only a dream otherwise it would be terrifying to be married now. OMG I'm just 17 please stop giving me these weirds dreams and make me panic for no reason. But its fun though =D ha
I'm not really sure when it started but I noticed more and more people called me Glenn instead. I'm fine with both names but it just feels weird. You are so used to be called Eric when suddenly another group of them called you Glenn XD Project Work. Ai-yah terrible la our group only left 4 person and we are in full speed to complete our project and we haven even finished our WR yet! OMG both CJ and MJ have completed their WR AND Oral presentation. I guess we are a bit behind schecule.....OK very behind. March On......

Why did Maths even exist in the world, why? There aren't many things we do in our life that requires maths beyond +-x/ so why are we learning maths? Just to qualify for the standards of architecture? Ok thats a good answer. I've been extremely lucky these few days, picking out a PS3 game for 2 pounds, 2 pounds! OMG thats less than 1/20th of the normal price and it is in good condition^o^ Last thing I came across these pictures and I thought it might interest you guys, enjoy.

Saturday, October 3, 2009

Oh My Goodness. In the past when we want to unlock something in a game we ask our friends, "how to unlock?" Humans have evolved and they now ask, "what is the cheat code to unlock?" I mean its perfectly fine if someone thinks its too troublesome to play a game (its very time-costing) but don't you guys think its also a reflect on how we have became lazier? Cheats or short-cuts are life-lines for people who are really clueless on how to complete this task but it should not be a habit for us to keep turning into this for help. Apart from this I just used a cheat in my game just now (Oops) and I've finally got an F2000 Belgium rifle!!! I know its promos period but please humans need 1 or 2 hours of entertainment after mugging for tests, how pathetic. I still got 3 papers left. I suppose I'm the last person in my band to finish my promos cos my art paper is on thurs noon -_-''' Why can't they just shift it forward to tue or wed? Anyway 5 more days to liberation, march on dude.

Thursday, October 1, 2009

Stop ruining our games SingTel!

Ok I'm quite mad at this today because SingTel has won the bid for the the broadcasting rights for the next 3 EPL seasons. Not because I'm biased and hoped that Starhub will win but please does SingTel know that their move will cause thousands in Singapore to suffer? They aim to provide a lower cost to subscribers next year? Thats f***ing Bullshit! How many people have Starhub in their family? And you think we will give up our service to take yours? Which has only got a few programmes as compared to Starhub's 800? And you said that some people will be desperate to subscribe both? That will cost them even more as compared to now. Your broadband is screwed up your TV is also screwed up. I'm definitely going to write a report to Straits Times asking for an answer. Watch Out

Friday, September 25, 2009

Last week I start to wonder who was the person who announced that students who do not pass GP paper do not get promoted. 3 more days till the so called "Destiny Paper", at least thats what I called it. This will be the paper that decides your future. Not as serious as the 'O' level Einglish but serious enough to waste another year of your life. Really feel like punching people in the face. 2 more weeks till the end of Promos, can't wait for it to end to get a better life. Life Seriously Sucks. We were born into this world as brightful kids with unlimited imagination and yet we have to study. 17years........thats a hell of a time.

Monday, September 21, 2009

Ah. Blogger has finally returned to its normal shape, at least I can continue posting photoes. I know this is lag but show you the state I was in after the crash. It was horrible, I lost my glasses, I can't even eat proper food cos my jaw was injured and I had to walk around being wrapped like a Taliban warrior after the initial days of the crash. July 2009 was really my worst month of my entire life so far. But I'm glad to have survived it. XD

Its quite a fantastic day today. A guy living in Bukit Batok called me to ask if my old bike is for sale. Frankly speaking, it is a miracle that someone wants to buy my old bike. I got $22 in return, not bad. Except that I need to cycle to CCK MRT to meet him lll-_- its worth it okay?!??! Promos coming next mon and its my all time nemesis, GP, and I must crush it this time.

Sunday, August 30, 2009

Those Milan fools think they can win the league by buying only Klass Jan Huntelaar but as I've said I'm 95% accurate in telling who is flop and who is not. Huntelaar is a flop obviously and they are stupid enough to let Sniejder go to rivals Inter and let Robben slip by to Bayern. Anyway, my predicted placing for them in the league this season is 8th. I just sold my cute little SD gundams on Ebay for $370. A little bit heart broken but sadly they are taking up too much of my room space. Took me 3 years of blood and sweat to gather them from all parts of Singapore. The good thing is I bought all of them at a total cost of around.......$100+? Total revenue-Total cost= profit. So glad I made a business out of it. Just gotten hold of 9 out-of-production SDs from a guy. $18.5 in total and I'm preparing to get the other 25 to sell for profits again. Promos is like 4 weeks away so I'll need to do what I can to at least get a decent grade for art, China studies, maths; a pass for GP and Econs.

Tuesday, August 18, 2009

What the hell is wrong with Blogger? (or maybe its my useless com's fault) I am only seeing times new roman words and no pics, no colors, NOTHING. Blogger has become a boring website to go. I cannot post any picture nor doing any stuff. Switching to livespace soon.

Wednesday, August 12, 2009

A whole new world. Yeah right. I just got smashed in the head by a handball flying at the speed of a turtle. Luckily I was not injured or something but it seems to be a curse that all handball keepers get injured (Last week my friend tio hit in the chest). And I want to know why I cannot post Pictures on Blogger?!?!??!?! It is ridiculous that I cannot share some wonderful memories of my daily life........imbeciles. If it is the problem with my template them I have nothing to say. Played soccer for the first time in months and it feels wierd. I missed all 3 shots but take this as a warm-up =D

Wednesday, August 5, 2009

Oh my goodness......14 essays in one week. You might want to suggest to me any person in this world who has accomplished this task before. 14 ESSAYS!!! I'm seriously tired after this busy week and I have to include the project work interview on Saturday and my art club meeting on Sunday. Thank god I finally pulled through it.......OK not exactly, my A3 size full coloured drawing is due fri and I've got a full comprehension, 1 essay, 1 art blog post to make, maths and econs test to study........

Wednesday, July 29, 2009

Hey guys I'm back. After nearly 2 months of absence I finally returned to BAND =D Dont know why I'm so desperate to go band. Maybe is because the friendship with my band members caused me to have dilemmas or it is something else. But I'm glad to be back and holding my dear sax (sounds wrong I know) again. We wasted 2 hours in the parade square today doing some NDP rehearsals. We were a bit off but it will be better next time =D

Wednesday, July 22, 2009

This may be the worst accident i may have ever encountered in my life. I was riding my bicycle down CCK drive when a truck turning from the opposite side caused me to fly out of my seat and crash land on my face. ON MY FACE. Can you imagine when you got up from the ground and you realized that half of your face was covered with blood? When I say my face was covered with blood I didn't mean anything like a fall when you are walking and get a few abrasions on the skin. According to the doctor, parts of my bones were visible on the chin. I must thank the passerbys who stopped and helped me by calling the ambulance and also providing me with tissue papers except I cant stop the blood from flowing even when i used up 2 packets of it. I was sent to the NUH emergency department where I hurt the most. The doctors used antibiotics tissue and also ointment and constantly rubbed against my face. MY GOD, IT SERIOUSLY HURTS!!!!!!! And the doctor was busy stiching up the cut on my head and I nearly fainted. It was the most horrible day in my life. I admit I was very scared by the amount of blood I lost and also the pain from the dressing by the doctors. But I must thank god for saving my life. Not a lot of people survive after flying so far in a Road Traffic Accident. It will be a deep memory in my heart. Right now I am recovering. Hopefully I can recover fast enough cos I want to go back to school and meet with my friends. 1 week is also a lot of schoolwork missed and I have to buck up. May god aid me in this crisis. Amen.

Saturday, July 18, 2009

Ok I'm sure a lot of you were sick and tired of my old template (Can't believe I survived on a blogger template for more than a year). And so I decided to give my blog a whole new life. The theme is Final Fantasy, lame and old but I like it.

Thursday, July 16, 2009

The exam papers were given back and i am totally dumbfounded. my grades so far; BBCEU. Atrocious and unacceptable. How the hell am I gonna sprint for my University course with these grades. 2 more months to sprint until end of year promos. Hope I do well, better hope.

Friday, July 10, 2009

Some people say that when you get some form of power you will tend to showcase it. OK I admit I did that to a certain extent. 2days ago (which is a thurs) I was riding my bike home from school and god decides to give life to our nature by raining. It was beneficial for our mother earth but has caused some problems for me. As I had a laptop in my bag and riding my bike I had to seek shelter. The nearest block was about half a mile away and I sped for it. Eventually when I was about to reach there, my racing bike wheels could not get the friction and I skidded. Imagine one of those scenes in Need for speed or Midnight club that the guy on the bike performed a drift on his bike, impressive but the body also drifted on the tarmac and the person was badly injured. I had a bad injury on my left arm of course and is thankful theres no fracture. I dont want to show you guys the pics cause it might be disgusting.

Monday, July 6, 2009

Sometimes i do feel good when people around me have to panic for their mother tongue while i continue my holiday spirit because of one simple reason that i do not need to take chinese in JC. HA-ha I feel the power. Just joking. This week is practically the same as last week , holidays all the way. Mon is youth day, tue is A level MT Oral, Wed go back schoo for half a day on PW, thurs same, fri holiday again. sometimes i do wonder why i feel that i had so much time. Because I am not concentrated enough on my studies! OK i admit it but I'll try my best to change my habit. A level is next year. Judging from the fact that i feel that i screwed up my mid years spells trouble for me. I do not want a C or D, I want A!!!!!!!!! Just watched 5movies in 2days, ridiculous isn't it?

They gave quite an impressive rating for Transformers 2 but i think the story line is bullshit. I love SideSwipe (AwwwwwYeeeeaaaahhhh) and I think thats the coolest part of the ovie.

Ice Age 3, still as boring as ever but still as funny as ever.

G.I.Joe......................................bullshit.

Haunting in Connecticut, yeah man i love this one, much more scarier and exciting than any other haunting movies.

To think of anyone stupid enough to rob an MRT train is pretty dumb and the movie quite boring in the storyline and the cars they used cant even go into the city in 20 mins thats useless. Taking of Pelham 123

Thursday, June 25, 2009

My bike got stolen, I'm serious. I mean the guy who stole my bike must have a whole ****ing load of ****s to steal it under broad daylight and in a bloody crowded area. And I am pissed of, you may ask anyone who know me what to expect when I say I am pissed off. The normal procedure is that I will hunt him down regardless of anything. And the fact is Singapore is small and to find an Aleoca crossbreed with a Shimano gear shifter, an aluminium 9.8kg tight frame with a magnum silicon seat and handle bar is in my terms not at all difficult. For the person who has unfortunately stole my bicycle, you have ****ing pick the wrong guy, OK and you will ****ing pay the price, and you would'nt want to know what it is. I mean it when I say I will do it. Just wait for me a little while more my sweetie, I'll **** that shit a** soon.

Monday, June 22, 2009

As holidays come to a near end, I have one thing to say. I'm tired. Those who have just entered JCs could be forgiven for wondering wether the schools are nuts in putting exams in front and after the holidays. However, it is undeniable that it is advantageous for us students simply because we will have the voodoo power to study H2 subjects. But it is HELL!!!!! Today I finally saw her online for the first time in months......OK maybe it is because I missed when she comes online. Whatever is the case I finally got to see her MSN name accompanied with a green sign.

You will be surprised how fast time flies. Studying has become the fastest tool to spam away your life, but it is worth it.

Saturday, June 20, 2009

Ok I heard this a lot of times. Yes, I have given up on her but you must understand that I still liked her very much. It is quite typical actually, for a lad to fancy a girl and this will normally take a few years for the hormone to 'cool down'. Its nearing a year since this happened and I hope that it can continue or god may help me, make it better for me. There was something in my mind that told me I saw her last wed in Singapore. I'll try to be optimistic but it is a fact that miracles do not happen, it is a miracle to be able to experience a miracle. I had quite an delightful evening at CT house where we had our band bbq, so thanks.

Folks I've got one thing to say. First of all, if you have not read this post, continue reading it. If you have and you are still reading it, that means this post is the best in the world. I dare you to shut down your com in 1 sec to prove that my post is second best in the world ;D haha-haha. Ok so I am seriously tired of the past 3 weeks. Its been hell, seriously. I could not even get a proper 11pm-11am sleep. You wanna know why? Simple, because of schoolwork. You are looking at the possible top student of PJC or any other organisations in the future. It is already wierd that I am online only like 3-4times a week. Just kidding, it is easy to say.

I don't know why but it seems to be fading away, one block at a time. It is time though that we should learn how to make up our minds. Should you not do it the consequence that follow may be catastrophic. I'm serious.

You'll never know what is going to happen. As you step into the abyss, nothing is left. One week, it is enough to recieve millions of bad news. As god looked after us, I knew he's tried, and that is enough. Ok folks, so I hadn't been posting anything for the past week and if you ask me why I'll answer you that everyone has his or her human rights to post and you better not provoke or disturb anyone to rush his or her post. This is because as the United Nations research has shown, more than 99% of the global citizens agree that starlight-vengence.blogspot.com is the world's second best blog because the talented, marvellous, creative, knowledgeable writer has planned his post carefully before he writes. He is second best in the world, and he will be striving to be the best.

Tomorrow is college day, hopefully we will not embarrass ourselves in front of the mayor and all other guests. Its our pride at stake so we must not fail......but inmagine playing an 8.6min song without looking at the scorelll-_- Its difficult!!!!! Ok so today got a few happenings, first of all we finally get to see how Zong Xiang's girlfriend looked like, then I was surprised at Christine's picture of her wearing spectacles lol. I'm still trying to forget my secondary school girl that I liked but I don't think I will, Ok highly unlikely. Even if I will, it will be like how many donkey years later. Ok so bye

Face the fact, its over. The same sentence has been floating in my head for about 2months already. Sadly, I accepted it only today. Shes not going to bother you, Eric and your efforts were not aided by your fate. It is destined in your life. Ok forget it, i'll accept. Maybe somewhere in my mind is urging me to continue hoping that she will come PJC but.......please wake up and look at the statistics; DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU ARE THE ******* WHO WILL GET THE MIRACLE FROM GOD? nope. So its over, all over. I guess my drama can end here for a while. I guess so........

YES!!! Finally, I broke the 5500words barrier for my book. Although there is now no apparent meaning to continue this book, but I wished to. Seriously speaking I have never accomplished anything in my life before so hope that my engine will continue driving. It is sad actually, to not be able to get things that you wanted but nevermind who cares. Ahahahaha. The past few days was a bit screwed up, seriously. First of all my PS3 is on 'medical leave' then my computer decides to protest against me by hanging at the start-up scene. And then my bicycle grounded itself by locking the brakes (I don't know who or what caused it). And then my spectacles broke down and the frame is close to dissecting. Hopefully this will turn better, otherwise, I may need to find Alger the Allah Holy Warrior.

Thank god SYF is finally over. We got silver =D After Months of hardwork and anticipation, this was the result that we got. Personally I don't think we have put in much effort judging from the sound and the different dynamics that we produced. However, this was a result that we must appreciate. RJC and ACJC both GOT ONLY Gold. Ironically, CJC and AJC were the only 2 bands that got Gold with honors and both are under the same conductor!?!?!??! Temasek dropped from Gold to Silver lll-_-(wonder whats going on in the judges mind).

Friday, the day where I finally got to experience a traffic jam. We were on our way to Esplanade for a concert when we found ourselves caught in a jam on AYE. My mother then tried to "act smart"=D by telling my father to use the West coast Viaduct. We thought we have successfully outrun the AYE jam, but we were a bit wrong.......OK VERY WRONG. In the end, we could have reached Esplanade 15mins earlier to be on time for the show but sadly, we MISSED IT!!!!! Ok these are the road statistics we saw on AYE and Telok Blangah road:

AYE: Marine Parade 37min
Telok Blangah Road: Marine Parade 77min

Understand? The moral of the story is; expressways are much faster than roads and try not to drive into the city on fri night =D

Another wonderful day given by the lord. I really appreciated it as this may be the best day I've ever had since a long time. Haha. Ok so me and my art friend completed a sculpture for the competition (picture on left). Although we do not hold much hope for winning the prize but we feel that we have done a fantastic job ourselves and we are happy! Hell Yeah!!!!! Also as some of you will know, I've created a crap blog called yahoo-woo.blogspot.com. Do visit it as it will provide you with inspirations =D

Ok folks I hate to admit it but; my pursuit of my fairy is becoming more and more difficult. Or rather I would say, impossible. I really hate to admit this fact but sadly this is the truth. Judging from the time left and the fact that shes going to step down soon, I have only one chance left. But even if it succeeds, I don't think we'll get together. But as long as that chance has not left me, I will still strive for it. Remember, I'm the person who can make the impossible possible. JC workload is increasing like emails in my mailbox. However, I must thank god for everything he has given so far, really.

Argh!!!!! I've been tormented by the loads of work. The probability of getting tongue-lashed by the teacher for not handing up work on time is about 99/100 and the most logical thing to do when you're running out of time is to do blogging? Doesn't quite make sense. A miletone for me today. I've finally completed chapter 1 of my book and its already 8 pages long and over 2000 words. Not bad for a green horn on this. Hehe. Still folks, don't be intimated by the picture of me on the left. Its just an exaggeration on how stressed I am doing work. Hehe.
Destiny speaks, fate executes. All is in the hands of the god.

I'm very busy these few weeks so don't expect me to blog much. First of all, I started on my own novel. Its called "12 things that you have to say to a Jasmine". Obviously just by looking at the name some people will start to question. Yes this in-the-process book is a dedication to my beloved and should be done by the end of this year. My target is 200pages and 150000 words. So please wish me good luck. And also I'm putting up the scores that I wrote for free. Those who wants them please tell me. First come first serve. They are "Jurassic Park", "Stabat Mater Dolorosa", "My Heart will go on", "You raise me up", "Monster Hunter" and "Funiculi Funicula"(under construction). Third thing I am currently pissed off with my project work and I'm on the verge of tearing and eating them up (just kidding I'm the least person you would have expected to blow my temper. hehe). By blogging so much I have already violated the 512th law section 18A; spend more than 5 minutes on http://www.blogger.com.

Guys this is the 100th post so please appreciate it. I am suffering from a fatigue from my band camp yesterday which I went without sleep for more than 38hrs(genuine). We played instruments in the day and played cards and PSPs at night, siok man! And I am desperately finding ways to go back to CCKSS because fortunately but unfortunately my affections are still as powerful as ever. So god bless me in trying to fight my way back. Destiny is not in the hands of the god, its in me.

Saturday, March 28, 2009

Sorry folks for the late post. I just got rejected in the face. Maybe I should just accept the fact that she doesn't like me. However, sometimes you should know that when your determination has overcame your depression, nothing is impossible. Thats why I'll keep my stand, I don't really hold much hope now but I'll continue as long there is still a glow of light. Endure, patience and perserverence is the key to success. Do remember, Eric.

Sunday, March 22, 2009

Ok, I'm totally broke after a day. Annabelle and Gabriel's birthday cost me all that I have in my bank but it turned out to be quite a wonderful day. We went to Delifrance for a long lunch before going for a movie, Hotel For Dogs..............its a lame show so please watch it. Today is the day that I collected my 100th green tea bottle. Its a milestone so hurray. If you are wondering why am I keeping these craps first of all they are not craps, recycling is a good way to save our environment and secondly, I believe that green tea stands for something more important than a container made of plastic. SYF for sec school is comin and that signals for the alumni to stop returning to school. The time has come, beyond that and I will never have the chance to go back. The last chance is on friday, miss it and its gone, but should I?

Wednesday, March 18, 2009

OK first of all, I'm sick. Seems that the flu-bird has flown into my nose again, and the only logical thing for me to do is to facebook and write my blog? Quite ridiculous but effective. For those who have been craving to look at my bike you get to do it today. Its on the left. And also my green tea collection has reached far beyond the size of my cupboard. Hahahahaha. Sun it will be a marvellous day cos Its Annabeeeee the mafia queen's birthday, sadly and unfortunately, I haven't think of a decent present to give except for pencil and ruler. Hahahahaha, one more thing. The cake from Delifrance is ****ing expensive.

What a magnificent day. For the first time since JC has started I got time for bowling again. The first 3 games was pretty good, twice breaking the 110 barrier. But then Alger and Kenny's horrific jokes caused me to burn my last game which ended in 67 points. One amazing thing of Alger is that one moment you see him score 1/2 points per set and the other you can see him having Xs and/s all the way, lll-_- mystifying. And so that concludes my day at B.Batok CSC bowling centre. Craving for a second round tomorrow.

Saturday, March 14, 2009

Bad luck continues. I'm pretty fucked up by the serious of bad lucks during the week. The fact that i used a vulgarity openly on my blog for the first time allows you to see how pissed off I am right now. Last sat I customized my bike and bought some accessories which as crazy as it sounds does not fit perfectly on my bike. Can you imagine? Every piece I have to use a special method to make sure it stands on my bike. Then, its the fact that my Soprano sax was damaged. The fact that some keys can't be played is fucking sad. And the place where this thing was "supposedly" produced said they does not offer maintenace. Fuck them. Then, its the miss of her. My much anticipated day of the week was blown into scraps when she hopped on to a car and left. I was left by the roadside still anticipating that she would see me and words were running through in my mind. However I do not blame anyone, certainly not her. But i just hope that Jesus Christ can see the fucking pissed off state I am in right now and please stop all bloody craps. For all those who are stunned by the colorful words I used in my blog please do not be stunned cos it is something that I don't usually do in my blog. Haha-haha. Felt much better after blogging, you can certainly look forward to a usual me in the future unless............

Friday, March 13, 2009

Another failure.......Perhaps it was really because of destiny that we are to be like this. I just could not have a conversation with her (dunno why). Perhaps she did not see a guy in PJC uniform standing at the school gate gazing at her or is it her intention to ignore. But my heart ached badly, for the first time in my life. It was a serious of heart thumps that abated slowly. Just once please

Saturday, March 7, 2009

Hi folks, feeling a little depressed these days. Workload in PJC sure is increasing like my mailbox. Bad news is my bike is down again, the metal lining on the front wheel broke again, how sad. However, I still feels for my loved. Maybe I should just talk to her, OK I WIL

Friday, March 6, 2009

Oh shit today I just blew a perfectly chance to talk to her. I was so near, probably 2m away and I could not approach her WTF. Maybe it is because there were 'light bulbs' beside. However, my determination has overcame my depression. I shall continue my pursuit of my dream and i swear i will not miss any chance in the future, definitely not. Wait a while more my dear.

Thursday, March 5, 2009

Much fun in band today, we practiced on a new piece and took no longer than 1 1/2 hours to play it from top to bottom without much mistakes. However, sad news came. I can't get to see her tomorow. Maybe it was fate that decided to create an obstacle in front of me but as I said I will continue my determination as long as I am still alive. In the name of Eric Xiao I swear I will keep my promise no matter what. Just hope that life will not so difficult.

Wednesday, March 4, 2009

What a plesant day at school again.Thank god for putting me into this JC. First of all, the band at PJC is hell lot of fun. Sorry I have a limited amount of vocab in my brain so please bear with it. Ok so my lecture starts......in economy we need to make choices due to scarce resourses. For example, time is of the essence. You may be foregoing time for MSNing or studying by reading the crap post. That is......OK la shouldn't fill your brains with these things. Ha-ho-hee-hu-ha-hee-hu-ha-hahahahahaha. I'm still in the middle of composing my second saxophone solo "Stabat Mater Dolorosa" and just broke the 20 bar checkpoint, 110 more to go lll-_- Die liao la. I have planned 2 more project, "My Heart Will Go On" & "Autobots Descend". Both are expected to be more interesting then "Stabat"(Only in the composing part la, the playing part I will prefer "Stabat". Haha. My schedule for this week is VERY VERY TIGHT. So if you want to book me out the chances are close to 0%. Sorry, but I will make that exceptional for her. Haha

Monday, March 2, 2009

Holy shit man belive it or not I nearly got struck by lightning. Ok here's what happened, I was riding my bike with bouyant spirits when the sky decided to cry, heavily. So I was in the middle of a big plain and desperately want to seek shelter. Then as I counted myself lucky to find an empty shelter under the MRT line, the sky decided to play some flashbang. There was a very very loud bang following a blinding flash and I fell from my bike. My legs were ****ing weak and numb and I had trouble getting back up at first while rain still poured down on me, how unlucky. There was another man beside me who called to me to help him up cos he can't get up on his own.

Sunday, March 1, 2009

What a pleasant day. Went to the US University seminar this afternoon at Mandarin Oriental hotel and talked to the guy from University of California and University of San Francisco. Not a bad experience. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure it won't be easy to get into these universities. I wanna go Princeton!!!!!!! Desperately. And one more thing, I'm missing out too much on the CCKSSWinds Community and want to go back as soon as possible. Unfortuately(again), there is a stupid obstacle called Security Guards. Holy shit on an Altar. If I'm not wrong without pass, I can maximum go back school 2 more times. Choose wisely

Friday, February 27, 2009

OK folks I'm a bit crazy over my saxophone these few weeks, especially after I composed 'You Raised Me Up' . I'm not kidding when I said I COMPOSED THE WHOLE PIECE. Took me about 2 months to finish it. It is quite a big project but I like it, very much, as much as I liked her. I'm planning for 2 more projects, 'Jurassic Park' and 'Stabat Mater Dolorosa[soprano solo]'. The second one is expected to be another major project so god bless. Bad news, I have to go down to CCKSS myself to make that pass. Holy shit man.
