Black Tuesday

Definitely not the best tuesday I have experienced in my life, in fact not even the closet tragedy comes within a thousand miles of this. A serious offence was commited and I pleaded to it telling myself that I did the right thing by not covering my mistake, mistakes which people make everyday yet not having courage or ethics to blister themselves instead of finding cover.

Negligence Discharge of a 5.56mm blank round, if it was a live round that I fired someone would be dead by now. Dead, something like someone wading into Bedok Reservoir and never come back on his own accord. As such, I was charged with Stoppage Of Leave for a good 7 days.

I do understand that there are at least a thousand others who made similar offences in the history and probably in the next hundred thousand years of history. However, the impact which sledgehammed the mind when it is fired at someone leaves a mark deep beneath. Thankfully, the particle that came out of the muzzle that was aiming at the head of someone else was not a projectile from the head of a bullet, just hot air. Easily it would turn into a scar, dropping your soul into an abyss inside your heart, producing a lifeless frame of you who only knows how to regret.
